DESCRIPTION:parallel\n21 March – 27 April 2025 \nIn the graphic print series parallel\, Pedro Boese follows the idea of interpreting a printed work as an object\, as a unity of motive\, paper and frame. He explores the relationship between the print’s visual space\, the space around it and the space between each individual work. What drives him the most\, is the potential of colour\, its different qualities and its ability to change with interaction. \nIn his painting and prints\, Pedro Boese deals with the geometric form\, the color and the background\, the structure of which becomes visible through omissions and removal of color. This interaction creates a tension between the integrity of the work and its dissolution. \nThe graphic workshop at SVfK enabled Boese to print in larger formats than usual and thus he has been able to achieve a more complex composition. \nOpening: 21 March from 3pm-5pm in Strandgade 27B\, Christianshavn.  \nAbout the artist\nPedro Boese studied visual arts at the Maastricht Academy of Fine Arts\, Netherlands and continued his studies at the Institute for Art in Context at the UdK Berlin. Since 2019 he is a lecturer at the workshop for intaglio printing at the Art Academy Weissensee Berlin. \nThe primary media he works with is painting and intaglio. Lately Boese combines etching with relief print.

DESCRIPTION:At skabe kunst til offentlige rum\nTirsdag d. 29. april\, kl. 15.00-17.00 \nKunst i det offentlige rum er en selvstændig kunstnerisk disciplin\, der involverer komplekse kontekster og mange tværfaglige arbejdsopgaver. Bogens ambition er at formidle viden om kunstneriske arbejdsmetoder til alle\, der indgår i processen fra idé til færdigt offentligt kunstværk; fra kunstner til håndværker\, arkitekt til konservator\, bygherre til borger.
